Should you need to make a last-minute change to your travels, our flexible rate typically allows a 24-hour cancellation.
However, pre-paid rates are not refundable. Please contact us directly via email or telephone if there are any concerns.
If you have booked via another source (for example, booking.com, Agoda, Expedia or Hotels.com), you will need to cancel or amend your booking with that other source as the hotel cannot do so directly.

Check in at Aiden Darling Harbour is from 2pm and checkout by 11am.
If you arrive earlier than check in and want to head out into Pyrmont and Darling Harbour to explore, you can stow your bags safely away in our secure lobby level storeroom. Likewise if you’re not quite ready to head home after checking out, leave your bags with us so you can wander unencumbered.
Located on our ground floor, our on-site Wayfarer’s Bar & Café is open from 6:30am to 10pm, offering a selection of delicious, wholesome food to fuel you on your adventures. Guests and locals alike are invited to enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner, plus snacks in between, and a range of beverages from coffee and tea to wine and beer.
You can park directly opposite the hotel at Wilson Parking Harbourside Car Park and access a special discounted rate for hotel guests of $55 per car per 24-hour period from time of entry. Note that this is for single entry only (meaning you can enter once and exit once).
You can pre-pay for parking when booking, or charge to your room during your stay and pay on check-out.
When parking your car, enter the car park and collect the ticket from the machine. Hold onto your ticket! When you’re ready to leave the car park, let our hosts know and we will give you a prepaid token to take to the parking clerk at the ticket office located on level 4, next to the lifts. They will validate your ticket to allow you to exit the car park.
The car park entry is at 50 Murray St (Google Streetview here), 35 metres from the hotel entrance. You will enter on level 4 for general admission/unreserved parking.
We don’t have a gym on-site at the hotel, but we have a partnership with Snap Fitness (Shop 1 / 209 Harris Street, Pyrmont NSW 2009) to provide our guests with casual access to their facilities at a discounted rate. Ask our hosts for pricing and access to a fob so you can enter the gym, which is open 24/7.
As a boutique hotel, space hasn’t been set aside for a pool on-site, however there’s easy access to a range of local pools including the Ian Thorpe Aquatic Centre which is within walking distance.
Most certainly, we can arrange a cot for your little one, available upon request. Although our rooms are compact by nature, we have a selection of rooms that can accomomodate a cot – please ask our hosts when making a booking.
As our rooms are designed to be compact, we’re unable to add additional beds to existing layouts. However, if you wish to stay closer to more of your nearest and dearest, there are a number of rooms on each floor which interconnect, some even via private hallway.

Aiden Darling Harbour is a non-smoking hotel. No smoking is allowed, not even on balconies.
We are currently in the process of rolling out a digital key solution and expect that to be operational later this year.
Once the system is live, you will receive an email that your room is ready to be checked into and also receive instructions on how to download your room key onto your smartphone (mobile or cell phone).
It’s as simple as clicking a quick-to-download app, using our free and super speedy wifi, and you’ll be ready to access your room digitally in no time!
Indeed you can! We use a secure, hotel-grade Chromecast service with a 24-hour telephone support number. Simply connect your device to the free hotel wifi, scan the QR code on the screen (or go to the web address and enter your code), and then hit the casting icon on supported apps such as Netflix, Stan, Amazon Prime Video, Disney or Foxtel
The closest car hire office is Hertz at the corner of Pyrmont Bridge Road and Harris Street, approximately 350 metres walk from the hotel.
There’s also a really cute hole-in-the-wall Japanese cafe (Takumi) 10 metres further, if you want to grab a bite before heading off (or if you need energy after a long day’s drive).
While we love pets of all shapes and sizes, we only allow assistance or service animals in the hotel.

Pyrmont and Darling Harbour is one of the best connected suburbs in Sydney. Our central location means just a short 20-minute taxi, Uber or drive from Sydney Airport, Chatswood or Bondi, or 30 minutes from Parramatta. There’s a taxi rank on Murray Street where we’re located. Better still, we’re practically at arm’s reach from the bus terminal outside the Maritime Museum, just 50 metres diagonally opposite us, plus the light rail (tram) stops at Union Street 150 metres away while the ferry wharf with direct access to Barangaroo, Balmain, Luna Park and Circular Quay. And the train is a short walk across Pyrmont Bridge into the CBD to Town Hall Station.

Yes, we are a COVID-19 safe hotel, committed to protecting our community, including guests and staff. As much of our hotel’s construction work was completed during the height of the pandemic, we were able to incorporate state-of-the-art filtration systems and cleaning technologies into the hotel structure. This includes upgraded Merv-13 / F7 filters in each in-room air-conditioning unit and continuous 24/7 hydroxyl supply and dispersion throughout our whole building’s ventilation system.
In addition to enhanced deep cleaning procedures between guests, we have touchless options for check-in and check-out, non-touch common area bathroom taps, soap dispensers and hand wipes and sanitisers throughout the hotel. All of Aiden Darling Harbour’s staff are fully vaccinated.
Guests must be aged 18 or older in order to book and check into the hotel. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
